Alternative Provision Progress Mentor (KS3 or KS4)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time + 1 week
Salary: £25,553 pro rata salary
Hours: 37 hours per week (part time would be considered for the right candidate)
This is a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of young people through supporting, mentoring and delivering core subject learning, achieving this through working at our hugely successful alternative provision units under the excellent leadership of the “Lead for AP”, you will receive full mentoring, training and support.
Experience of working with young people is essential and you must be confident, have strong literacy and numeracy and be able to engage students to enable them to make the best social, emotional and academic progress.
Key responsibilities:
- To support the Deputy and Lead for Alternative Provision with a successful curriculum programme
- To deliver mentoring, core subject learning and courses to both small groups and one to one that enable student progress, engagement and achievement.
