Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (Paid over 12 equal months)

We require 2 x mini bus drivers to join our site team. Responsible to the Site Manager. Having a full clean UK driving license and being over the age of 21 is essential, full training to drive a mini bus will be given if required. Duties will involve safely picking up and dropping off Year 7 students at the start and end of the school day. Keeping the mini bus clean and tidy and any other site jobs as required.

We require a casual lettings assistant to support our out of hours’ provision. Responsible to the Site Manager. You will have good customer service skills, be responsible and mature, full training will be provided. Duties will involve greeting customers, ensuring the site is safe and secure, occasional cleaning and clearing of the site safely any other site jobs as required that match your skills.

Exam, Data & Sims Manager

Full Time, Term Time Only + 1 Week

Salary subject to experience:  Range: (Grade 5 – Band B) (£23,255 – £31,753)

Magnus Church of England Academy is seeking to appoint an Exam, Data & Sims Manager. The successful candidate will support the Assistant Principal for Assessment in running the programme of school data and assessment, co-ordination of a successful exams programme and being the SIMS lead in school.

Key responsibilities:

  • To lead and be fully responsible for adequate provision of accurate data, ensuring this is collated, formatted and analysed effectively, meeting the needs and requirements of the academy and Senior Leadership Team.
  • To lead on SIMS ensuring all data is up to date and correct, feeding accurately into other data systems & reports, annual roll over and submitting the whole school census and inputting the academic timetable.
  • To lead on the exam and qualification programme for all students.

Assistant SENCO

Hours 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm, term time only

Start date: September 2021

Salary: Band A – Salary Range pro rata £23,361.12-£27,144.75

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with a background in supporting students and their needs, to lead our LSA team and support the Senior Leader for SEN to drive forward the Student Support department.

The successful candidate for this exciting role will have the drive and determination to achieve the very best for all of our students and have experience of working with students in vulnerable groups and delivering interventions (please provide specific details of these in your application).  This role also requires a good level of administrative and ICT skills, as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with all students and successfully lead and manage a team of LSAs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Senior Leader for SEN with all administrative duties.
  • Ensuring all LSAs are deployed effectively.
  • Playing a key role in developing and preparing funding bids.
  • Leading the LSA’s ensuring performance management, development and day to day management.
  • Supporting students.
  • Preparing paperwork to ensure exam dispensation regulations are met for students who need this additional support.
  • Developing, running and evaluating a range of interventions to support our most vulnerable students.

Magnus Church of England Academy is seeking to appoint a Deputy Leader of KS3 Alternative Provision which supports students from Magnus and a number of local partner schools. The successful candidate will support the Leader of Alternative Provision and Assistant Principal for Behaviour in running our new provision. The provision is based on site but in a separate building. You will have a passion for engaging and supporting students and their families to enable them to make the best social, emotional and academic progress.

Key responsibilities:

  • To support the Alternative Provision Leader with the strategic vision and planning of the onsite Alternative Provision.
  • To lead and oversee the provision when the Leader of Alternative Provision is at the Key Stage 4 Provision.

To deliver mentoring and run courses that enable student progress and engagement.
