Our support for students with special educational needs is covered in four main areas:
- communication and interaction
- cognition and learning
- behaviour, emotions and social development
- sensory and/or physical
Our staff team works collaboratively with outside agencies with specialist advice and provision, supporting effective teaching and learning across the academy. By seeking to remove barriers to learning and participation, together with providing top-quality information and guidance, all students are afforded the opportunity to achieve their personal potential.
Our SEN team is available to support students in lessons, in small groups and through personalised support and guidance.
