The Academy facilities are available to rent, and are used on a regular basis by Newark sports clubs and performing arts organisations.
Facilities and Room Hire
All Weather Pitch
Available for football with both 5-a-side and full-size goals. All bookings for the All Weather Pitch are now managed by Active4Today. Please contact them for availability, prices and booking – bookings@active4today.co.uk
Many Newark football clubs train on the pitch and welcome new members. Newark Hockey Club play their home fixtures at Magnus and also have training during the week and on Sunday mornings. The pitch can either be hired as 1/3 sections or as a whole pitch.
Academy Field / Grass Pitches
Available for open air events plus the cricket, football and rugby pitches for matches.
Sports Hall
Available for 5-a-side football, badminton, basketball, cricket net practice or hockey. The Sports Centre is the home of the Jaguars Wheel Chair Basketball team who are one of the top teams in the country with a number of aspirant Para-Olympians.
The Studio
The studio is used by dance and fitness groups.
Dining Hall
Can either be used on its own or with other facilities to support major events.
Main Academy Hall
The main Academy hall is available for performing arts events and rehearsals. Lighting and sound equipment are not available.
Performing Arts Facilities
The dance studio has a sprung floor, practice bar and full length mirrors on the end wall, plus a 50 watt sound system.
There are also two music rooms and four practice rooms available for hire, plus a drama studio.
