Made @ Magnus
At Magnus, we love to keep in touch with former students and so we’re launching an alumni programme – Made @ Magnus – to help with this. Our aim is to build a network of ex-students that will return to the academy and inspire current students by talking to them about their experiences with university and their careers.
We’re working to set up a network that is a two-way partnership and hoping to hold future events at the academy for Magnus alumni.

| Family Dining Guest | 40 minutes plus travel time | Family dining is a whole year group event where one lunchtime per week, students sit down in tables of six for a family meal service. A delicious roast dinner is served, a topic of discussion is held and appreciations given. |
| Career Small Talk | 30 minutes plus travel time | A small group of students who have an interest in your career and career path have an informal question and answer session with you for 20 minutes. |
| Assembly Year Group Talk | 10 minute set up, 20 minute assembly plus travel time | Speak at our year group assembly on a topic that matches our values: • Determination • Integrity • Ambition • Humility • Compassion |
| Whole School Act of Worship Talk | 10 minute set up, 10/15 minute assembly plus travel time | Speak to the whole school on a topic that matches our values: • Determination • Integrity • Ambition • Humility • Compassion |
| Motivational Mentoring | 30 minute training session with a member of the leadership team. DBS completion. A minimum of six weekly 20 minute mentoring sessions with an assigned student. | You will receive training on how to mentor an assigned student who needs support with one or more of the following: Behaviour, attendance, academic studies, organisation, aspirations or motivation. |
| Enrichment Activity | 30 minute training session with a member of the leadership team. DBS completion. A minimum of twelve weekly 1-hour enrichment sessions with a group of students. | If you have an interest, skill or knowledge that can be offered as part of our enrichment programme we would love for you to share this with our students. Our Period 6 enrichment programme runs on a termly basis (12 weeks) Tuesday to Friday at 2.20pm-3.15pm. |
