Cleaner
Salary: £12.26 per hour
2 hours available per day (afterschool role, hours to be confirmed at interview)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (Paid over 12 equal months)
We require a cleaner to join our cleaning and premises team. Whilst experience of school cleaning would be advantageous it is not essential as training will be given. Responsible to the Executive Site Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning a designated area of the school. Standards of cleanliness must be high and the ability to work independently to a daily schedule is vital.

Exam Scribe & Invigilator
Start date: Various dates within the school year
Salary: £12.45 per hour plus arrangements for holidays.
This is an opportunity to work as part of a team of invigilators at various dates throughout the school year, in particular around the exam periods in the spring, summer and autumn.
Previous Invigilator experience would be desirable but not essential as training will be given. All candidates should have a good level of English literacy, be confident in working with students and be able to follow procedures. Most importantly you should demonstrate a supportive attitude towards students and be able to work well with our small but dedicated team.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing the exam room as required by the examination board.
- Ensuring there is the necessary equipment for each exam.
- Ensuring that the students adhere to the exam rules i.e. no talking.
- Assisting with any issues that arise during the examination.
- Assisting with any persons needing to leave the examination hall.
- Reading and scribing to students when needed.

Cover Supervisor/Cover Manager
Start date: September 2025
Cover Supervisor
37 hours per week, Term Time Only Grade 3 pro rata starting salary £21,298
8am – 4pm with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday
Cover Manager
37 hours per week, Term Time Only Grade 4 pro rata salary ranging from £22,331 – £24,593 depending on experience
7.15am – 3.15pm Monday – Friday with a 2.45pm finish on a Monday
The successful candidate will provide absence cover for all teaching staff, supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will also coordinate with external agencies to book supply in as and when needed.
You will:
- Be organised and able to plan your day, printing resources as required.
- Preferably has previous classroom experience, possibly as a cover supervisor or as a teaching assistant
- Be confident, with the ability to build relationships with students but to also manage the behaviour of students and promote and maintain a calm working environment.
- Be proactive in supporting around the academy, including with homework club and duties as required.

Alternative Provision Progress Mentor (KS3 or KS4)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time + 1 week
Salary: £25,553 pro rata salary
Hours: 37 hours per week (part time would be considered for the right candidate)
This is a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of young people through supporting, mentoring and delivering core subject learning, achieving this through working at our hugely successful alternative provision units under the excellent leadership of the “Lead for AP”, you will receive full mentoring, training and support.
Experience of working with young people is essential and you must be confident, have strong literacy and numeracy and be able to engage students to enable them to make the best social, emotional and academic progress.
Key responsibilities:
- To support the Deputy and Lead for Alternative Provision with a successful curriculum programme
- To deliver mentoring, core subject learning and courses to both small groups and one to one that enable student progress, engagement and achievement.
