Year 5 Open Evening
We would like to invite year 5 students and their families to our Academy Open Evening on Wednesday 14th June 2017 5pm – 7pm.
There are many reasons to enroll at Magnus which were recently acknowledged by Ofsted including:
- Transformational leadership bringing rapid change and increased progress made by students.
- Newark’s only Sixth Form provision encouraging high aspirations.
- Partnership with the RAF and King’s Grammar School to provide a Combined Cadet Force for students.
- The return of the Duke of Edinburgh Award and increased links with Newark Rugby Club.
- A comprehensive induction programme and summer school to ensure a smooth transition into year 7.
- A free bus service offered to year 7 students who live further away.
If you are interested in finding out more about the exciting improvements taking place at Magnus and the positive things Ofsted are saying please come to our Open Evening and meet our Principal Mrs Martin, our staff and some of our fantastic students.
If you are unable to attend, Mrs Martin would like to invite year 5 students and their families to come and meet with Mr Hazard or a member of our Senior Leadership Team to tour the academy at a time of your convenience to see the academy running on a normal school day.
