Sixth Form Team Building

Our Sixth Form students recently took part in a team building challenge day to develop a range of skills both as a group and individually.

They spent the day in groups creating new artwork for the Sixth Form centre, learning study skills and competing against each other in activities such as seeing who could build the tallest newspaper structure.

The aim of the challenge day was for the students to develop skills such as teamwork, communication and organisation, all vital skills they need for studying at A Level. The activities also enabled them to build on their creativity, problem solving and memory recall skills.

Miss Sheard, Director of Learning and Progress for Post 16, said “The students worked hard and showed perseverance and determination throughout the day and especially on the catch and throw a bouncy ball challenge!”
