In order to remove the issues we currently experience with the length or style of skirts worn as part of the uniform we have started a consultation on the introduction of a standard Magnus skirt, optional from Easter 2018 and compulsory from September 2018.

Below, you can view the options we are suggesting but we would encourage you to view them in person if you are in school over the next 3 weeks to see the benefits for yourself.  Full details of costs and quality are included and all skirts will be available to purchase from Uniform Direct by phone, online or in the Lincoln based shop; we will also be arranging a pop-up shop at Magnus regularly from March 2018.  Female students will still be able to wear black trousers as an alternative.

If, having viewed the options available, you have a preference or any comments you wish to make please provide them either on the letter given to your child or by emailing office@magnusacademy.co.uk with ‘Skirt consultation’ as the title by Friday 1st December 2017.  The letter can also be found on our letters page.

Once the 3 week consultation period is complete we will review the responses and confirm with parents and students which skirt will become part of the Magnus uniform.
