Coronavirus update – School will reopen June 15 for Y10 and Y12

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Sunday evening, we can confirm that the date when we will reopen for Y10 and Y12 will be June 15. The Governors of Magnus Academy met last night and agreed our plans for reopening. They were confident and reassured that we have plans that will prioritise the safety of both staff and students when we do return. We will be writing to parents/carers of Y10 and Y12 students next week to outline these plans in detail. You will then be able to confirm whether you are comfortable with your child returning. Following this we will issue individual student timetables that will outline the days and times students are expected in school. Thank you for your support and patience at this difficult time.
